This was the hit of Christmas Eve. I gave one to my brother and husband and everyone one wanted one. It projects light way out in front of you and is a must have for power outages and walking in the evening. Great product. I am ordering several more.

I bought this for my Dad as a present. He uses it for night fishing. He loves it because he use different caps all the time. He said it's very bright and frees his hands for casting and handling fish. Also, I have to mention that the shipping was excellent!

I found this light to be one of the best buys I have made in a long time. It is very easy to use, it always shines where you are looking and has a bright enough light to see for a long way. It is lite and compact and is not prone to moving around like other clip on lights. This is a must for anyone who goes out at night.

We used one as an exchange/steal a gift game at our Christmas party. Everyone wanted it, especially the guys. Had to buy more. Great for when you need to do anything hands free, in the garage, packing up the boat or RV, in the back yard, or even to read by. Sturdy, not flimsy and has a strong light. Highly recommend it for anyone who wears ball caps.

The product is just as described, and has been very handy in times where I needed a light but didn't have an extra hand to hold a flash light. Would recommend this product. This was also the cheapest place I found to get this product.

On my last outing taking youth to church camp this came in very handy. It clipped to my cap and the path was well lit. (Hand's free) No huge batteries, and no stap to go around your head. It fits neatly into my pocket when I'm done. Too bad they did'nt have these years ago.

I got a bunch of these as stocking stuffers this Christmas. I had seen one over the summer and thought it was a fun idea. The light is bright and allows you to see clearly with your hands free. Batteries are a little tricky to get in right but other than that I recommend this fully.

I bought this head light for my husband because I kept stealing his to read my books. He likes this one more than a headlight with a strap. The lights are VERY powerful and even lights up our back yard. I would definately recommend to anyone. Even if you don't wear hats, you may want to start, because this light is pretty helpful. I'm glad that I didn't spend more $$$ on the more expensive ones, because this one tops them all.

Likes: I found this light extremely light and very bright. Many clip-on b.ball cap rim units are typically heavy and causes the brim of the cap to droop. This 5 led unit is very light and the leds can be switched to a few leds up to all four allowing even more and longer battery life. The best little brim light an all night fisherman would choose after trying on this one.
The light powers with 2 dime sized button batteries. I'm still on the original pair and can't share with you how long they can last. But the duty cycle must be a good one from what I have seen so far. Dislkes: "I haven't found any yet."

The nature of my job includes doing security sweeps of commercial aircraft in the morning hours and holding a flashlight versus the handsfree one makes the job a smoother one. The LED lights give off enough light to complete our task in a more efficient manner. Hats off to the inventor for this remarkable tool.

I bought three of these for me, my daughter, and a friend. We have continually received complementary comments from strangers and family alike so we bought four more. That wasn't enough and will be buying more in the future. These little lights are a big hit!

They are great for those dark corners that can be found under any automobile hood. They are handy in every closet. They are great for the kids who can now venture to the bathroom during the dark night without fear. And on and on.

Buy them for the serious buyer or for fun and you will not only enjoy it but will get the "...where did you buy that?" comments from all that see it.

I purchased this cap light to use during my Breast Cancer 3 day walk. Since you are living in a tent for the weekend and using porta potties in the dark, this light clipped onto my visor bill and worked perfectly!

There have been some complaints about the clips for this light snapping off. I think I know why. The light is designed for a ball cap whose bill is only slightly curved--take a look at the product picture. Most ball caps these days have a more pronounced rounding to bill than this light is designed for. If you try to force the light onto that type of cap, you are certainly going to snap its clips.I dug out an old ball cap with a relatively flat brim that I am dedicating to this light.

This light puts out about as much light as an average headlight (the kind you wear, not an automobile headlight). I'm planning on using mine for camping. It uses two flat, quarter-size batteries (CR 2032), so don't expect long life from a set of batteries, and don't use it as your emergency light when hiking.

Within those limitations, this is really a great little gadget.

If they would beef up the clips a little more I would give them 5 stars. Some caps with thick bills will take the mounting clips to their limit. Be careful putting on and pulling off. The switch on the bottom is located much better than previous models with small switch on side.

My husband got one of these as a stocking stuffer; it's brighter than we thought and it's made better than those previously sold. The clips that go onto the cap are now made of a metal; not plastic. Should work well.

I was very surprised how much light this puts out and how light it is. I clipped it to the bill of my cap and expected to feel my hat pulled forward. Wrong! I could hardly tell that it was attached to my cap. Great value.

The 5 LED Cap Light does not provide a really bright light, but it works fine shedding some light in very dark places. Great when you need both hands free. It works for me.

Five LED lights together on the bill of a hat may look ridiculous but actually does a dccent job. I use the lights to read by since my middle age eyes require a lot of light to read. Five lights are better than one although the light still doesn't radiate across the entire verticle page of the book. The price is excellent and I would recommend the product as good for reading but not perfect.

My only complaint, it's made of plastic. I think it's waterproof anyway, the seal doesn't seem to be perfect. It's good for $5.00 but I wouldn't pay more than that.

Aside from that it fits perfectly on my baseball hat, even the curve matches perfectly! I love how bright it is, yet I am unsure the "100,000" hours of light guarantee (if it is a guarantee or not i'm not sure). Maybe the lights themselves last 100,000 hours but I highly doubt the lithium ion batteries will last nearly that long. Includes 2 of them by the way, so a good deal for your money, but wouldn't trust them as my last and only light source.

This item is great to have. As a matter of fact I bought several to give to friends who do odd work around the home. Keeps your hnds free to work. You get a lot of strange looks when you wear the light in a public place. The big drawback to the lights are the two little plastic pieces that attaches to the bill of your cap. They are made of cheap plastic and break FREQUENTLY. The light is pretty good, always could be brighter, for the money. I would buy this item again.

Nice cap light, very useful, though their 3 LED model is brighter, though more than twice as expensive as well. IMO, the 3 LED model is the better deal nonetheless.

I bought five of these nifty little lights. They came in in plain white packaging without frills and sans batteries. I recieved an email which informed me that the seller caught and corrected the battery oversight and recieved them in a separate shipment. the lights work great but the clips that hold them to the cap are fragile and break easily. I have picked a cap and put the light on the one cap and leave it on there. Changing the light on and off a cap puts the stress on the clips and breaks them. Beyond that, they were a tad expensive, $5.99 for a plain jane product in white packaging; but they do perform. ( So far I have only broken on of the lights, the other one I have not removed from the cap). Hope this helps.

I got this light for my husband who uses it for a working in dark concert environments. The light itself is nice and bright, easy to use, etc. The clips, however, are very flimsy and snapped off after light use. Now it's a brightly lit paperweight...unless he wants to duct tape it to his hat, which I doubt!

I liked this little gadget, and the price was right. However, if you use it for regular tasks, it will cost you. The little flat batteries do not last that long and are expensive. You are better off buying a real headlamp for $30 that uses AAAs and has a lifetime of 50-100 hours.

I had the light a little over a month and now it is basically worthless. Both of the plastic clips have broken. It was a great light until it fell apart. The first clip broke about a week after I bought it. I thought the first clip breaking was possibly my fault but a realized it wasn't after the second one snapped about a month later of minimal use. If you want a light that last longer than a month, look elsewhere. You do get what you pay for!!

I just received this product and am VERY disappointed in it. Had it cost any more I would return it for credit.
The light is not bright at all. I went into a pitch black closet with it turned on and couldn't see much more than a dim sense of light.

I was hoping to use this to read documents at night, and fill out forms when I am on disaster response calls. There is simply not enough light from this product to be of any use for those types of jobs.

I have a variety of LED products (flashlights, clip on lights of different sorts), and this was the first LED I've gotten that completely underperformed.

This thing fell apart as soon as I tried to put the batteries in. The chincy little contacts just snapped right off. It's hardly worth the time let alone aggravation or postage to attempt to return it.

In order to get it to work to begin with, I had to adjust the battery connectors. Then, one of the attachment brackets snapped the first time I used it. I wasn't forcing, either. The lights were bright though.
